The Monferrato a territory to be discovered. The Monferrato region is such a diverse land that any attempt to describe it by giving a single definition would be unsuccessful and, probably, even useles. This territory is full of fascination because of its diversity, being that a distinctive feature that alone can constantly surprise visitors. Since this region was not heavily touched by the economic and touristic development of the seventies and the eighties, which in many areas in Italy unfortunately caused serious ruining of the landscape and damages to the architecture, the Monferrato still maintains vast areas that are almost untouched and wild. Wide valleys where no industrial urbanization took place, extensive woods that are almost inaccessible and villages that preserve all their harmonious traditions touch the heart of anybody visiting this land (cit. 365 Monferrato).
And it is precisely to make this territory known that we at the ASD Bike Comedy Cycling Club organize three cycling events:
– June 4 2023, first edition of the historic cycle La Monsterrato Belle Epoque
– 2 September 2023, second edition of the Monsterrato Gravel Race , 16th stage of the Uci Gravel World Series, a circuit that touches four continents
– 3 September 2023, seventh edition of the La Monsterrato-Strade Bianche Monferrato cycling tour, also open to e-bikes.
