Gravel Grit ‘n Grind for a three days gravel stage race

The Swedish Trek UCI Gravel World Series qualifier will take place this year on the weekend of 18-20 August with a 23km time trial on Friday, a 104-133km UCI qualifier on Saturday and another 80km gravel race for a general classification on Sunday. The race was considered as one of the most beautiful gravel course in the series last year!Only the Saturday event can qualify you for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships who will take place in Veneto (Italy) in the weekend of 7-8 October on a new course compared to last year. Riders qualify if they finish in the top 25% of their age group. The Saturday qualifier starts and finishes in Simlangsdalen, 18km away from Halmstad where the race took place last year for a course starting along the scenic lake for a first difficulty coming after 3km where the road goes up for 1.5km to leave the lake. The rest of the course is on the typical wide open undulating gravel roads who are wellknown in Sweden.The race splits in two in a shorter 104km course and a longer 133km course. The 104km is the qualifier distance for all men 60+ and women 50+ while the longer course fits as qualifier for the younger age groups.
